Today we started the day by thinking about what kind of mood we were in. Some of us were feeling happy and positive about the day and others of us were feeling grumpy or upset. We had to think about what was impacting on our mood and how it could in turn impact on our learning.
Before the day had even begun some of us has decided it was going to be a bad day because of things that had happened even before we got to school (like there being no breakfast cereal left, having to get up early for choir, not being able to find our hats etc). Some of us were happy to be at school with our friends, excited about Kapa Haka or looking forward to art in the afternoon.
Mrs Ferguson drew a line on the board and we had to put ourselves on it based on how we were feeling at the time. Over the course of the day we got to move where we were to see how our moods were changing throughout the day.
